Cronite has been supplying the fossil fuel power generation industry for over 90 years.
Initially the market was cast components for steam powered ships boilers, but land based power generation boilers are now where our capabilities are focused.  Although this market is mature, there is an new demand for advanced  burner technology to reduce pollution, in particular the nitrous oxides (Nox) and CO2 in the exhaust gases.  These new burner systems are being installed in both existing (retrofit) and new plants, and Cronite is at the forefront of low emission burner developments.

The main components manufactured are Burner Nozzles ( low pollution oil and pulverised coal burner nozzles, air swirlers and large tube support beams) and Boiler Spacers (Lost wax precision cast tube spacers).
